Crass

If something is “crass”, it is stupid, usually very stupid (extremo, craso). A person can be crass, (maleducado, grosero) meaning that his behavour or character is very bad or coarse (tosco).

 A person can also “make a crass remark”, that is, saying something that is quite stupid and inappropriate.

A politician could be called crass (malo, desastroso) meaning that his performance is his job is very poor.

The noun is crassness. An example: Mr. Podemos´s crassness (estupidez) was reported in all the newspapers.
